FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If you want to buy a home that is listed in the MLS system, you don't pay me. The person selling the home that you want to buy will pay for my commission. If you want to sell your home, the going rate is 3% for the buying agent and 3% for the selling agent. As your first time to work with me I will drop my fee to 2.5%. I feel sure you will work with me again! If you want to lease a property, the landlord generally pays commission anywhere from 25-100% of the first month's rent. The tenant does not pay for the real estate agent's services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I listen to what they want. I will send them some options on properties and have them review. Looking at those properties will generally help them think of other things they want or don't want when buying or leasing a home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in some kind of selling for over 30 years. I understand negotiation and getting the best price.
