FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most prices are per square foot to be measured, extracted or removed. Equipment is rented out by the day. No additional after hours fees. 10 percent discount, up to $500 off, for Seniors and Military.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we discuss the loss with the customer over the phone to determine if our services are required and determine the location and size of the loss so we know how much equipment to send. Then a technician is dispatched to the customer as soon as possible. Measurements of all affected rooms are taken and a line item estimate is prepared before work begins. Once services are agreed upon the customer signs our Work Authorization form. Any changes to the work outlined in the estimate have to be signed/initialed by the customer. Water is extracted and drying equipment is set up that day. Equipment is usually on site for 3 days, sometimes it goes longer depending on drying conditions. A technician will check the site every day except Saturdays to take moisture readings, make adjustments if necessary and to remove equipment from dry areas. Once the final areas are dry and documented all remaining equipment is removed and an invoice is given to the customer for any remaining balance.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All Mathis Restoration technicians are certified as both Water Damage Restoration Technicians and in Applied Structural Drying through the IICRC.
