- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $40 per hour for sewing instruction. Please contact me for custom pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I determine the needs of the customer - assess what they are trying to accomplish - and develop a strategy to achieve that goal. Based on my experience, I have a wide assortment of finished products to share construction know how to my customer. The customer dictates the goal for their chosen product and I provide instruction to that end.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years sewing experience. I began sewing in a number of drapery workrooms. I began making clothes from commercial patterns. I studied fashion design and pattern making at Soo Young Lim School of Fashion Design. I then began sample making for local designers. Clothing, handbags, and window treatments depending upon the client. I currently have 3 shops on Etsy and I teach sewing instruction to kids and adults.
