Introduction: Avery Hale Photography is a boutique photography studio specializing in creatively inspired portraiture, family and event photography. With nearly eight years of experience, I have been involved in a diverse array of projects including family portraits, newborn photography, corporate and celebratory events, and individual headshots. Currently based in Washington DC, I strive to make bold and vibrant images that bring out the warmth and personalities of my subjects. I love photography because it allows me to use my own creative perspective to create an image that reflects the subtleties, intricacies, and unique characteristics of a person, place, or experience. It's easy to take a pretty picture, but more difficult to create an image that is bold yet natural, dramatic yet soft, and inventive yet classic. I have always enjoyed the challenge of capturing each of these characteristics in my work, but the biggest source of joy for me comes from the positive reactions and words of gratitude I receive from my clients in response to the images I create for them.
