Kari was a pleasure to work with and made every effort to ensure that our dinner party was special and delicious. She also took great pains to create a well rounded menu and address a number of dietary restrictions and picky eaters. A few of the people in our party expressed interest in how a few of the entrees were prepared and Kari was happy to share her secrets. Kari is great! We had her come out to an Air BnB for a rehearsal dinner and the food was amazing! Everyone enjoyed the appetizers and main dishes! My mom has food allergies and there were a few vegetarians... she took the time to explain what was in each dish and who could eat what. I have had many really great meals at Comfort Market, so I asked Kari if she would cater my husbands 60th birthday party. We had well over 200 people in attendance and she did an absolutely amazing job. She is super efficent and accommodating. Two weeks later people are still talking about how fantastic the food was. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Appetizers cost 2-5$ a person based on the ingredients, and staffing is 25 an hour per staff member present.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Listen to the them and goal for the event. Go over budget and then create a menu for the budget that meets the Customer's needs. There are usually a few modifications, and then everything is put in writing. We follow up as the event is coming up, and then it's time for the fun!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been catering events for 7 years.
