Our experience in family legal services also set us apart. We know know first hand that resolving your disputes though a neutral third party is a much better outcome for families than having a day in Court. We also help you narrow the issues to discuss with legal counsel to make best use of your time and money when it comes time to hire your lawyer. Krista enjoys helping people engage in creative problem solving and navigate transition. Keeping families out of the court system and in control of their own lives is of critical importance. When people are educated about the process and expectations match outcomes, mediation is successful. Allowing people to air their grievance so they may move on in a constructive manner can be beneficial. In mediation, couples have the power to make decisions. In Court, that power is taken away and someone else makes decisions for your family. If you ask five friends/family members that have been through divorce or litigation or a family conflict requiring Court intervention what their outcome was in Court, you will get five very different experiences and opinions. You should also ask them what it costs.
