Architectural design is our passion. For nearly 10 years, we have been providing design and drafting support to architects, developers, homeowners, construction firms, business owners and more. We are up do date on all of the latest trends and technologies in the design field, we rely heavily on Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies that are standard in the construction industry today. Additionally, Denver Drafting and Design provides professional grade laser scanning as-built services to the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry. Laser scanning is quickly revolutionizing the AEC industry and we are at the forefront of the movement to make it a standard part of the design and construction process. Laser scanning reduces time spent in the field to generate as-builts, increases accuracy, and integrates seamlessly into existing BIM workflows. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is unique so I don't like to assign a standard price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to first talk with the customer to find out what exactly they need. If they have any photos or plans (even hand sketches!) that can really help me get a feel for the property. Then I like to make a site visit and discuss their exact needs further.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in the architectural design field in various capacities for the past 15 years. I have served many functions, including drafter, BIM coordinator, designer and project manager. This varied experience has given me a very good understanding of all parts of the design and construction process.
