Introduction: I am a New York based yoga and meditation instructor who has been practicing for more than 10 years and teaching (certified) for three years +. I am currently in school obtaining my Doctorate/ L.ac in Chinese Medicine. I have dedicated myself to yoga as a means of healing for physical and mental growth. Influenced by my various travels, I offer yoga and meditation as a way to approach an ever-changing world. My classes help to build strength of the body and mind. Pulling from my own personal practice and continuous personal study of holistic healing modalities, I strive to speak organically, intelligently and creatively. I teach mostly alignment-based vinyasa classes that are easily approachable to all levels, but I have experience in yin and restorative practices. I incorporate a variety of pranayama techniques and emphasize the importance of yoga as a moving meditation and a form of self-sustainability. I am studying with Yoga Medicine to receive my 500 HR credentials and am in a Masters/Doctorate Program for Chinese Medicine Acupuncture and Herbalism.
I love offering a service that allows people to become more aware of their personal relationship with their body. The practice helps to build a sense of presence both internally and externally. It is a great healing modality for those working through injuries, those looking to gain flexibility and build strength and those looking to find alternative ways to deal with stress and anxiety.
