I was quoted $75 to pressure-wash my house. When the guy came out, he told me something completely different. He said the person didn't know how big my house was, so they couldn't give an accurate quote. Most quotes are not accurate, they are estimates. If you don't know how big someone's house is, don't say it's $75 to pressure-wash it. Instead, give a price range. A quote/estimate of $75 to pressure-wash a house is ridiculous.
Call me naive, but $75 was what I hoped to pay. My stairs alone, at $5 a step, cost me $40.
Needlessly to say, I didn't use the service. I didn't like the feeling like I've been had, reeling me in with a $75 bait...Dishonest!!
Don't let them come back and say I was misunderstood. I assure you I asked questions about the extremely low price and got it in writing.
