Introduction: Herman Tutoring and Writing Services is passionate about helping each learner cultivate the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve their goals. Equipped with over seven years of instructional experience in multiple learning environments including high school and college classrooms, after-school programs, and one-one-one writing consultations, I offer tutoring in reading, writing, and some areas of math (contact me for more information).

I have known Cameron Herman, professionally and personally, for six years. We became colleagues and friends in 2010 while graduate students at the University of Louisville. Since that time, we have supported one another with writing projects pertinent to our respective research projects. When it comes to writing and editingx Cameron has a keen eye for detail. He is also skileld at helping writers draft their ideas clearly. I have found that his background in stats is helpful in that he finds ways to use big data to corroborate qualitative research. Also, Cameron does well in keeping up with various research and writing technologies and resources. Recently, Cameron and I co-authored an essay for the anthropological academic journal, City & Society. Our work assessed the impact of gentrification in Houston, Texas and the efforts of local artists to combat this process of spatial change in the Third Ward neighborhood.

Cameron provided editing services for me on a number of short professional documents. I have an advanced degree and consider myself quite a good writer, but Cameron's edits were incredibly helpful. He was very thorough, made suggestions on how I could improve my language choice to better convey key messages, flagged grammar mistakes, and edited document structure to improve flow and effectiveness. Cameron was wonderful to work with and I would strongly recommend him.

Cameron is AMAZING! I knew I'd hire him to tutor my daughter during our first meeting. He's completely professional and personable. He listened to my concerns and knew right away the approach he'd take with my daughter. Most important, my daughter enjoys her sessions with Cameron has asked to go twice, not once, a week.
