Introduction: I'm a certified math teacher with 5+ years of teaching and tutoring experience. I also tutor all sections of the ACT and SAT. I have experience with all different types of learners including students in special education, english language learners, and gifted students.
I have a B.S. in Mathematics Education because this is my passion. I have always enjoyed teaching my friends and family new things, and I want to help you get the grade or score you deserve!
For example, I have a previous student that really struggled with the basics of math. She hated coming to class, and she had never received a grade higher than a low C. Throughout the year, I worked individually with her to not only raise her grade to an A, but also instilled an appreciation for the subject. More importantly, the critical thinking skills I helped her develop are now serving her well in college.

Kelsey Gentry has been tutoring both of my high school daughters. She has tutored my freshman in Honors Algebra since the beginning of the school year. She has helped my daughter to bring her grade up from a C to an A. She also tutors my senior daughter in SAT strategies. My daughter took the SAT and felt confident that she scored well with Kelsey's strategies. Kelsey has been great with my girls and is able to help them achieve their academic goals. One of the best tutors we've ever had.

Kelsey was great to work with - she provided ACT Math tutoring for my daughter which increased her score by 5 points! She was flexible on scheduling and locations too.
