- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If you're looking to buy a home, there is no cost to you for hiring a Real Estate Agent. If you are looking to sell a home, you typically pay 3% to the Real Estate Agent who is representing the buyer and 3% to the Real Estate Agent who is selling their home.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you are looking to sell your home, there are two very important details - the price of your home and the ability to market your home to the most amount of people. I help you select the right price based on market value, then get the word out to the right individuals who are looking to buy. If you are looking to buy a home, I ask a lot of questions! Each client has unique needs and it takes time to find exactly what you are looking for. As a result, I guide you through the process and ask the right questions. Once we find the perfect home, I negotiate the deal, get the clients in touch with the right lenders and inspectors, and get my clients the house!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After doing non-profit work for 9 years, I needed a break. I decided to move to New Zealand for 8 months and along the way traveled to FIJI, Dubai, Sydney, Norway and Costa Rica. After the long, amazing adventure, I had what I called my 30 life crises. Starting all over and trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life as a 30 year old was an interesting process. One friend recommended I do residential real estate and I couldn't get it out of my mind. I felt as though it merged my talents and gifts really well so I pulled the trigger and have been doing it ever since!
