FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every job is unique and every client is too. Working in corporate settings generally requires more process but for smaller jobs and working with new start ups, I can usually provide a framework upfront with pricing to meet customers needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Robust designs, smart strategies and great creative concepts require collaboration. Needs are always different but the creative process is largely the same: research, concepting, execution and management to the finish line of all deliverables. I find the discipline of budgets to be a powerful mechanism for focusing everyone's energy. Fully defining scope of work even when taking baby steps is a great way to proceed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started my career as a self taught book designer in the very early ages of self-publishing and did so quite successfully in the 1980s. This launched my long career in graphic design and as I took on more clients and larger projects, I was asked to take on more and more responsibilities. I embraced technology early on and have never stopped learning and growing as the industry has changed. I've gained an ocean of knowledge from working with great clients and maintainging long standing relationships with entrepreneurs and outstanding creative professionals.
