What could I say about Jabez? He is amazing. My daughter Stacy was a junior in high school when we met Jabez. Her dream was to attend Harvard. Although she was at the top of her class, Stacy always struggled with standardized tests. We had enrolled her in ACT prep before but nothing seemed to help. Heeding the recommendation from a close family friend, we contacted Jabez and worked with him over the course of four months. We saw results immediately! Jabez breaks down the structure and design of the ACT into small packets of knowledge and then builds it back together. His lessons lasted three hours but Stacy consistently said that the lessons flew by. His ability to make the ACT a rewarding experience is his greatest gift. Stacy went from a 26 to a 35. Without Jabez’s help, I am not sure that Stacy would have been able to reach the score she did. My only regret is purchasing three ACT programs before I talked to Jabez. Highly recommend!

After scoring a 27 on my ACT and a 25 after that, I knew that I needed a tutor to help raise my ACT score. I had a consultation
with a tutor prior to Jabez but never actually carried through. The tutor was kind and seemed like they knew what they were doing, but there was a certain disconnect that I couldn’t put my finger on.
After meeting with Jabez for my first lesson, I immediately knew that I could tutor with him. Although my goal on the ACT was only a 29 for a merit-based scholarship at a certain college, Jabez encouraged me to shoot for the highest score possible. After only 3 ½ weeks of tutoring, my score was raised to a 31. Though I was shocked, Jabez had told me all along that I would obtain this score. It was nice to know that someone had that amount of confidence in me.
Jabez is a great mentor, but he’s an even better person. While I came to Jabez for help on the ACT, he also helped me with college applications and advice on where I should apply. Jabez is an extremely funny guy and anything but boring, as we often found ourselves talking about funny stories, prior experiences, and even fantasy football. All in all, Jabez is an amazing tutor, but an even better friend.

I always struggled with the ACT and with the preparation for the ACT, which put me at a disadvantage among my peers. I needed to get my score up, and I felt like a tutor would be the best fit for me. My expectations were that I would get one-on-one study sessions as well as an improved ACT score. I got both from Jabez.
At first, I felt like it was hard to get into the packets and the study session, but at the end, I was grateful for all the work and all the time Jabez was able to dedicate to me. I was happy with my results as I improved great overall and some of the worst aspects of my ACT became my best.
Jabez was very helpful and was always there for me when I needed it. He always made sure he drilled the material and made sure that I was on track. He was very flexible and made sure that we got the work done, even if it meant getting an extra session, getting extra packets, or doing longer sessions.
Overall, I had a great experience with Jabez, and I highly recommend him!

I went to Jabez after taking the ACT twice with no improvement (as I received a 27 composite on both attempts). I was hoping to score somewhere in the thirties, but Jabez gave me bigger goals in order to pursue my collegiate dreams.
He showed me strategies and ways to “attack the test” and I received a 34 composite on the exam. The difference between Jabez and every other tutor you will ever meet is his drive, intensity, and vision. He will match the effort you put in and create a mutualistic relationship to help you pursue your dreams. Furthermore, he goes above and beyond in every aspect of the plan. I paid for his service solely expecting him to show up every Tuesday and help me study and prepare for the exam, yet he has done so much more than that. Jabez would work with me on multiple days of the week (including Saturday nights) to help me reach the next level and open up limitless opportunities. His above and beyond work ethic was vital in aiding me to reach the 34 on my ACT.
Finally, Jabez is helping me prepare and curate my application to have a chance of admission into truly elite schools in the United States. Jabez will certainly guide you to improve your ACT score tremendously (for me it was by 7 points) while also preparing you for your next step in your life. Jabez is a truly fantastic guy and it was my pleasure working with him!

My husband and I are thrilled with our son’s ACT results after tutoring with The Prep Doctor. With Jabez's expert guidance through his ACT program, Harrison raised his score from a 28 to a 35 composite with two perfect 36 scores on English and Science.
Jabez hones in on their particular weakness and teaches them how to master the types of questions they repeatedly miss.
