I needed DJ services for a fun corporate event I was in charge of putting together. I decided to hire Uptown Sound because a colleague of mine recommended them. They did an absolutely phenomenal job! Although I had a large variety of guests, the DJ kept everyone happy and moving. He accommodated all of my needs and requests. We got compliments all night on the music. Great price. Great service. I couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome of the event!

My wife and I were blown away by the service we received from Uptown Sound. We thought that picking a DJ was one of the hardest parts of planning a wedding, but we are so greatful we came across this company. I know we weren’t the easiest wedding because we are extremely picky and had everything very custom/particular and planned to the T, but Holden worked with us through the entire thing. I needed a DJ who could handle my ceremony, cocktail hour transition, and reception being in different locations. Holden and his staff crushed it (in a good way, haha)! My wedding was orchestrated perfectly thanks to Holden’s attention to detail and ability to DJ different phases even though they were in separate parts of the venue. We were surprised how hard it was to actually finding a DJ that can accommodate to all of your musical wants and needs in this city! We contacted DJ after DJ after DJ after guess what.. DJ and then we found Uptown Sound. These guys were AMAZING. They never stopped finding a way to service our needs even on day of the event. Prices vary depending on the type of event, date, and time frame requested. For example - Wedding quotes typically reflect the amount charged for receptions. We also offer various upgrade packages that include: Lights Fog Machine Customized Gobo Projection Video/Picture Slide Show
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a client gets in contact with us, we take pride in getting to know them and their specific needs. We are available to communicate via whatever means the client prefers, whether that is in person, via telephone, or through emails. Here is an overview of our process: 1. Free Consultation Our process begins with a free consultation (every meeting, call, or conversation with us is free throughout the entire process). During this consultation, an Uptown Team Member will ask you questions about your big day. The team member will also answer any questions you may have about hiring a DJ for your event. 2. Deposit/Payment We offer a variety of packages and will help you decide what works best for you. Once you decide, we will ask you to pay a deposit. Your deposit saves the date with us and also goes towards your total amount owed! Any remaining balance is due one week prior to the date of the event. 3. Communicate and Customize Once your deposit is secured, we can begin working! Throughout this process your DJ will work with you (or whoever you put in charge) on customizing the perfect playlist for event. 4. Show Time! On the date of your event, your DJ will arrive an hour before it begins to set up and make sure everything is perfect. Your DJ will perform as requested and provide exceptional service!
