- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For handyman services we have a minimum charge of 2 hours @ $100 per hour $200 + tax + any material and supplies needed to complete the project will cover you for 2 hours of my work. For bigger scale projects like kitchen or bathroom remodels, because there are so many variables involved, I like to visit you in person and look at your project and if available look at the plans of the projects so you can always get a fair and accurate estimate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually reach out and inquire as much as possible about your project. I like to listen to you so I can view the project from the same perspective as you. I like to review plans if available, manuals, models and manufacturer names to get familiar with the work. I ask my customers to describe their project as if I were a child :), if an onsite visit is necessary I would schedule it at a time and date that's convenient for you and then generate an estimate based on what we have talked/assessed.
