- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing varies from job to job, because all clients have different needs and wants. I do my best to cater to each and every person. I also believe in consistency and hard work, so I'm always willing to discuss pricing options and work to accommodate all budgets if at all possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually like to talk over phone or text about the look they want to achieve. And for about 5-10minutes before we start makeup, I check in to see reference photos, ask a lot of questions to make sure we're both on the same page. I like to find out if there are any must haves (aka lashes or contour) or DON'TS...perhaps an allergy I need to be aware of. If its Bridal, I highly recommend a trial run, so the bride feels comfortable and confident on the day of.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in college at UT doing hair and makeup for all my friends and sorority sisters! It spiraled from there, then moved to Los Angeles in 2003 and now I'm back in Texas!
