Introduction: Durann Cree is a self-taught beauty, editorial and special effects makeup artist. I have many years of experience blending and beautifying! Weddings and special events are my most requested jobs, although come Halloween, I'm super busy with costume work. All of the products I use are FDA approved and Cosmetic Grade. Safe for kiddos and those with super sensitive skin. I've always had a passion for makeup. Sitting up in my room doodling on my face and blasting Backstreet Boys was my favorite pass time as a teen. Nothing made me feel more confident and sure of myself than after I had just done my makeup. For a woman, her wedding day is one she will remember forever. It's an honor for me to be able to make my clients feel beautiful, confident, and unstoppable on their big day. Paying attention to detail and making every inch flawless, from head to decolletage, is what I take most pride in. You will not be disappointed.

Super late review but Durann did my makeup for my wedding back in 2017. She was absolutely wonderful. During the trial she listened to my feedback and created the exact look I had envisioned. Super pleasant and lovely, I highly recommend her!

Durann did my makeup last week for my wedding and did an amazing job on our airbrush makeup and lashes! We never had a trial because I flew in just days before and I had full trust that she would do a great job. Durann was right on time for our 9am appointment. She is very talented and did beautiful make up for me and my girls! Her hair girl was lovely as well! They were also very fun and giggled with us all morning! My only complaint was that I didn’t get my emergency touch up kit but it wasn’t the end of the world. Durann, thank you for helping make my day so special and beautiful!

Duran was amazing! After a horrible previous experience with a different make up artist, I was made very aware that not all artists are experienced and professional. Duran was responsive and made me very comfortable for our trial run for my wedding. She was punctual, professional and gave me the exact look I wanted for my big day! I highly recommend her! :)

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
This is mostly standard, but I do offer group rates for those with large bridal parties! Also, false lashes are included with every option, no extra charge! Airbrush Full Face: $90.00/person Traditional Foundation Full Face: $75.00/person Eyes only: $50.00/person I also offer lessons! $35/hr. with a two hour minimum
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Find out the details about the project at hand, asking all necessary questions about skin, allergies and look. We will set a time and date for a makeup/hair trial. Happy client will book date and time of their special event as well as leave a non-refundable deposit of $25.00 that will go towards balance due.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm mostly self-taught, and I take a lot of pride in that. I also attend workshop in and around the Austin area. Employed by Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group as a Makeup Artist going on 2 years. Being on the House of Torments Makeup team has been such a great learning experience and fun!
