Introduction: My path to fitness began at the age of 19 with my fascination in strength training. As a teenager without a clear vision of the future, bodybuilding gave me the confidence, structure, and self-esteem to focus my mind and achieve my long held dream to live in America. In 1994, I attended the University of Texas at Austin where I received my Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies. I am ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Cooper trained Wellness Coach with more than a decade of experience, providing a holistic approach to fitness and wellness. I am also a National Academy of Sports Medicine Corrective Exercise Specialist and a Yoga Teacher.
My approach to personal training is holistic. I believe it’s equally important to train the mind and the body. I achieve this through strength training, yoga, body awareness and mindful meditation practices. Everyone can achieve their health and fitness goals with the development of a positive attitude and a vision to succeed.
