Introduction: 3J Designs by Jen offers hand done calligraphy services for any event big or small. From save the date envelopes to place cards 3J's can make your event stand out with custom calligraphy. I consider each envelope a piece of artwork! I'm easy to work with and will help make your event special. I also teach calligraphy. In college I took a calligraphy class and feel in love! I enjoy making occasions unique and special through the calligraphic touch. My favorite thing to do is practice lettering. All I need is a nib in staff, black ink, and a white piece of paper.

I can't say enough good things about working with Jennifer! She did the calligraphy on the wedding invitation envelopes for both of my daughters' weddings, and they were absolutely gorgeous! They added the perfect touch, and the response from the invitees was incredible. Jennifer is a true artist and can do just about any style you can imagine. Knowing that timing is so important with invitations, she gives you a finish date and sticks to it. I can't recommend Jennifer highly enough...she's a joy to work with and worth every penny!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Each job is unique and after our initial email conversation I will have a better idea on cost.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I have an email conversation with client to get the ball rolling. Once quote has been accepted then I normally meet clients at a coffee shop that is convenient for the both of us (if I need to pick up envelopes, signs, etc or drop off finish work).

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a BFA and took over two years of calligraphy classes in college. I take on average two calligraphy workshops a year to continue my education. I done calligraphy for over 25 years!
