- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have a discounted package when individuals consent to 3 month contract. I encourage a minimum 3 month commitment. That being said, it is not required, but changing a lifetime of learned behaviors cannot necessarily be unlearned in 3 weeks.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will challenge you, offer encouragement, and commit to what you feel are your values and goals. I’ll help you take control of your life and help you realize your joyous journeys that lie ahead. I do expect you to commit to yourself and participate. You bring your truth. I listen, provide non-judgmental feedback and help you to gain a better understanding of you as you discover your own solutions. You are open to suggestions and willing to take charge of your progress.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked in cancer research for 11 years before deciding to try something different. Always staying in the science related fields, I eventually went to work for the American Cancer Society as a Cancer Information Specialist. This awakened a passion in me to connect, support and bring hope and understanding to others who may be struggling with their wellness in a variety of areas. Moving into a position as a Tobacco Educator with a non-profit afforded me the opportunity to established outreach health education to all age groups from young children to adults in small and large groups using highly interactive multimedia presentations. I was given the challenge to design a complete program that not only shared information on the health dangers of tobacco but also provided science based education of how and why this lifestyle choice is damaging to health. This was a wonderful and successful experience that was rolled out to 30 Counties in Central Texas. Finally, after working as a Behavioral Health and Wellness Educator for 7 years with a medically supervised weight loss program in a clinic, I decided it was time to fully focus on coaching and supporting the health and needs of my clients.
