FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal in every make over is to have a unique, fun and educational environment which allows for open communication so that our goals and interpretations of them are aligned. Resulting in stunning beauty and a glamorous appeal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started with Nars Cosmetics and was trained by 5 national artist. I was taught that you cannot use an extension of your hand (the makeup brush) before understanding the feel and movement of the product. Once I was allowed to use makeup brushes for application, I learned the basics of pigment structure and movement. My next position with Lancome had 5 families of skincare which allowed me to further individualize each skin type. This gave me a greater understanding of why we use certain products in a particular order and how the use of these products (to address individual concerns) can have amazing results when done properly. When I started as the Regional Trainer for Ren Skincare I simultaneously also began work with Yves Saint Laurent Beauty as a regional makeup artist. The two companies would teach me to combine all that I had learned, thus creating the basis for the process I use today.
