FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to, but every job is different. To difficult to lump ANY work into a set price range. Plus their are other factors; Is customer on fixed income? Is customer enlisted in military? Is customer elderly? I find a way to work with customers to make needed repairs, services, products affordable by allowing payments, offering discounts, bonuses, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Loose quote for "foot in the door". Visual inspection of job site, hard quote/estimate. Interaction with customer to find out their expectations and ideas, as well as future plans of site, if any, and goals. Prioritize tasks from customer input, and work out a plan of action in order to handle those tasks and reach customers goals. Try to exceed those expectations and goals to make job pleasant, non-invasive, and overwhelm the customer with satisfaction, all at a resonance cost.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years and years of practice. From degree; problem solving, interpretation of customers input into a viable solution, and delegation and prioritizing of tasks at hand. I'm a self taught welder, fabricator, and framer.
