FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most events are a flat per hour (minimum 3 hour) block, which includes 1 hour of setup\tear-down. If the event requires us to be there earlier than 1 hour, that will be quoted with the price. More complex events (weddings mostly) will incur slightly higher pricing, but that is just because there are many consultations and time spent preparing for the event. We ensure you will notice the difference. Most other companies will only guarantee a DJ will play your songs. We help ensure the best song selections and time management are planned out and executed during your event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get an idea of what the client is expecting, and work with them to develop a timeline of events (especially weddings) that are tailored to their needs\wants. And properly set expectations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm an IT Engineer by day and a DJ by night\weekend. My experience in the IT world is greatly used when equipment fails, and you have to adapt and troubleshoot the issue and ensure the event still goes on and the client never knows there was an "issue"
