FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is always flexible. Each project comes with its own specs and demands and each client comes to the table with their own budget. A basic logo design usually costs upwards of $200-300 - higher costs are obviously incurred for more elaborate logos or multiple versions. Generally, for smaller projects, we can discuss a flat fee; for larger projects, I charge a $30 hourly rate. A 50% deposit is required up front once a sketch is decided upon and the remaining 50% is due upon completion.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I am connected to a new customer, the first thing I want to get a feel for is the scope of the project, the existing branding of the business, and the timeline of needs. Alongside that, it's necessary to research similar successful businesses in your area and their branding. Once I'm confident in the needs of the project, I'll present an accurate quote. Once the quote is approved, a 50% deposit is required. At that point, I will provide 2 rounds of rough ideas. Once an idea is settled on, we will finalize and fine tune the design. This process can involve a good deal of back and forth, so you are encouraged to reach out to me to make any necessary changes. If the finalizing process exceeds 5 revisions, each additional revision costs $20.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am fully self taught on both Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. While I may not have attended a design school, I have spent over a decade in the design industry honing my visual design skills in trades including: fine art portraiture, high end custom picture framing, and logo and print design.
