FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees range depending on location and issue.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is a 15 - 20 minute phone call (no charge) during which I can hear more about your dog and the issues you're having. Once we do that, I can give you an idea of how many sessions would be appropriate. But, it's up to the client because I don't require a package, although I offer a 10% discount with 3+ sessions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a BSc degree, and I'm a graduate of the Canine Behavior Academy and the Academy of Dog Behavior (advanced level) and have attended numerous seminars with renowned behaviorists such as Trish King, Ian Dunbar, Sue Sternberg, and Pia Silvani. To obtain my CPDT-KA certification, I had to submit documented hours as a lead trainer as well as pass a rigorous exam; I submitted over 400 hours. I obtained those hours as a lead trainer at local training facilities (private training and classes, puppies and adults). Prior to that, I trained at humane societies and more.
