- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$35 for a full day: $25 for a half day. $15 for a 30 minute dog walk at your house. I will bring my dogs along but they can stay in the car. If the owner accepts, I can bring some of my dogs to the owner's house for play and shared learning.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A free initial consultation is followed with private lessons or sessions that include joining the other dogs who already understand the rules. Dogs are incredible imitators! I prefer working on Wednesday's and weekends. But I do have one or two spots available on the other days. Leashes and harnesses or halters are used frequently and often I allow leashes to drag on the ground until dogs gets to know me.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Nerve damage has made it impossible for me to continue working with horses. I've transferred my understanding of horses to use with dogs. I watch dogs for friends and family almost every day. Three of them are still under 8 months old. I am not breed specific at all.
