Yvonne enjoys helping people clear out their spaces and does so with a kind gentle spirit that allows and aides the process of letting go. She has worked with me as wardrobe consultant/personal shopper and has helped me to work through my fear and anxiety when going clothes shopping (this had been the bane of my life for many years). She helped me to work through the feelings and get a better picture of why I reacted so vehemently to even the slightest thought of clothes shopping. It was a great experience and I actually had FUN shopping for the first time! A few months later I was able to go clothes shopping with some friends (still needed some support) and purchase some MUCH NEEDED work clothes. While there was some anxiety (it doesn't magically go away all at once), I didn't shut down and leave the store within five minutes with nothing to show for my efforts, as I normally did before working with Yvonne. This was MAJOR growth and I thank Yvonne every time I step into a store and don't cringe or start feeling depressed. She has also assisted me many times when I've needed to move or just clear a path in my home when the space became hoarder status! She allows for time to process but doesn't let me get stuck in indecision, keeping the flow of movement towards my goal of purging. I highly recommend Yvonne to any and all who could use a friendly hand in clearing out their spaces, where ever they be!!!

Working with Yvonne has been a wonderful experience! She's been helping me sort and organize in my home in an easy supportive way, like a good friend. Yvonne did an excellent and thorough job of helping me get rid of stuff I didn't need and find appropriate homes for the things that needed to stay. The result was a perfect spot to set up my sewing machine and start crafting again.

Yvonne did an exceptional job in the limited time I could afford to have her help me with clearing out space in my house and re-organize a second office room. She had clear insight into my emotional difficulties with "letting go of stuff" which had created a messy accumulation of paperwork and piles of business records, leading to constant frustrations and negative feelings about ever being able to make progress. She is smart, fast and has a great sense of humor - all of which helped with moving the stuff and the energy. She made me turn a corner, for which I am most grateful. Highly recommended!!!

Investing in Yvonne's organizational skills is the best thing I have done for myself. My house was overrun by stuff accumulated in 22 years and all drawers and closets were overflowing. I thought I should be able to face the chaos but could not.Yvonne joyfully brought a keen sense of space, a willingness to recycle all that could and a feminine touch with wicker baskets designed to transport stuff from one spot to another for ongoing contained daily flow. I feel spacious and relaxed in my own home again.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Sometimes folks are ready to jump right in so we'll start with a 3 hour session, quick overview and then focus on the priority areas. If you want to get an assessment and recommendations, we'll more likely start with an hour or hour and half walk through of your space, discuss what you want to accomplish and what's in the way, set out a plan ... and may even handle any obvious or quick adjustments then and there. Either way, you will see viable results that will make a difference in the first session.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
The earliest confirmed instance of my organizing career, Mom told me, when I was nine years old, I had taken it upon myself to organize the kitchen 'junk drawer', looked up at her and said: "Mom, you've got everything in here but order!" Since then I've always been the one family and friends called in ... I've been flown across the country several times as partner for a weekend purge, have pitched in on a two week, deep dive clear-out project and trained many folks in how to keep their inbound and outbound flow in balance.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with folks from 8 to 85: artists, professionals, travelling executives, retired doctors, academics, parents, children, elders and those dealing with physical mobility challenges and early onset dementia.
