Introduction: I’m a PhD candidate at UC Berkeley researching Artificial Intelligence. I received my Bachelor’s degrees from UC Berkeley in Applied Math and Electrical Engineering & Computer Science I tutor all level of Maths; Pre-Algebra, Algebra Elementary and Advanced Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre Calculus , Calculus ( I, II,&III) , Linear Algebra and Discrete Math. I also provide tutoring for various tests like ISEE, SAT , SAT-Subjects , ACT and GRE. I have tutored over 50 students in SAT Math and SAT level I&II (Math). All my students have scored over 760 and 15 students achieved perfect score. I'm very proud of that number and constantly work on improving it. My teaching style is to ask my students focused questions that cause them to think, then determine the correct answers for themselves. One of my main goals is to make sure that the student understands the concepts and uses logical reasoning to solve problems rather than memorizing how to do a specific problem and hoping that a similar problem shows up on the test. For in person sessions that are outside the 10 mile radius, the rate is usually 90-100/hr depending on how far the location is.

Math is a subject which I struggle in conceptually, and I've had many tutors over the years. Aji is by far the best tutor for math I have ever had. My friend put me on to Aji after he had extremely successful sessions for higher math. Aji helped me with Calculus 2, as I hadn't developed a strong foundation in Calculus 1 due to COVID hitting halfway through my semester. He explains everything beautifully and makes sure to do it in a way that works for the student's individual learning method.

Aji tutored me for SAT Level II Math. He is a really great teacher, he went out of his way to make sure I had a complete understanding of the concepts. He prepared notes and assignments for me so that I could get more practice at home. On more than one occasion he stayed later than the scheduled hours to to make sure we finished what were studying. He made sure to put more focus on topics I was struggling in. It's thanks to him I got a perfect score in the test

Aji has been tutoring our son in Algebra and Pre-Calculus for a few months now. He is really professional, he makes assignments and notes for every chapter which have really helped our son better understand the topics. Aji is an exceptional tutor. He looks at the individual needs of a student and prepares lessons and homework designed specifically for that student. He has been helping my daughter prepare for the SAT in math. He is patient and excellent at explanations. After each session, my daughter tells me that she has learned so much. The cost depends on the subject being tutoring and distance travelled. I offer discounts if you pre-pay for multiple sessions; 5% for 5 sessions and 10% for 10 sessions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to give a diagnostic test to the student before the first session. It helps me gauge student's strengths and weaknesses which I use to create a personalized study plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have Bachelor's Degrees in Computer Science, Applied Math, and Business from UC Berkeley. I'm currently a PhD candidate at UC Berkeley researching Artificial Intelligence.
