FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fair and reasonable. my rate is what I need to support my family of 4 and enjoy a lower middle class existence. so far only one client had made an issue of my rate, although she still uses me. everyone else is totally fine with it. the results are of my labor more often or not adds value and happiness to the home and family.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally listen to what the client needs and then hear their solution of they have one. then recommend an approach, develop a game plan and proceed. my clients quickly see that they are getting their money's worth. I only work on one project at a time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
my education was focused on geology, so I'm always interested and enjoy working with stones, marbles and granites. apparently I wasn't cut out for academia and my path took me to the building trades. but my main interest is my artwork. I approach much of my work on structures as an artist first, craftsman second. an artist involves his heart in the job and my artistic training had preconditioned me to do just that.
