As owner of Steel City Woodworks, LLC, my goal is not only to provide beautiful and high quality custom wood-working, but to do so with honesty and integrity.
In 2014, I started this company after leaving a long career in the oil and gas industry. Having worked on a ship for 14 years, my wife and I decided it was time for a change. When not off-shore, my secondary career centered has centered around the construction industry, doing work for friends, family and others. It made sense to transition to woodworking full time.
Specializing in finish carpentry such as custom built-in cabinetry, mantels, crown molding, staircases furniture, as well as interior and exterior doors, I will work with you to realize your vision for a one-of-a-kind custom piece.

Shawn has put in new laundry room shelving and cabinets along with Sheetrock repair and wood deck work. He does excellent work and I would highly recommend him to anyone. Shawn is very dependable and will do anything necessary to get the job done right.

Shawn was great. He installed a new wooden handrail for our staircase and reworked a cabinet space to allow for a pull out trash can and recycling bin. The work was beautifully finished, and it was done quickly. I will certainly have him back to do more work when we have our next project.
