FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a customer for the first time, I seek to completely understand their vision and what they want to say to the viewer. It is important that I get an understanding of the essence or message my customer wants to get across to achieve their concept. I encourage customers to provide me with any inspirations as we together decide the kind of design style that should be applied. Often with first time customers I may provide quick idea sketches to see what speaks to them. After I have worked with a client multiple times, they often feel comfortable with giving me creative freedom to design what they need.

- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It honestly came natural to me. When going to school for Fashion Design, we started out doing a lot by hand with illustration and technical flats. As the classes got more advanced, I had to know how to translate by ideas from paper to pixels on a computer screen. I ended up becoming good with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator which has lead me to where I am now. A couple years after graduating I realized that graphic design was my calling and I took a leap of faith and immediately applied to get my bachelors. My former training in fashion has let me developed my design style and understand what it takes to create something that is eye catching and professional.
