- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I want my clients to love their pictures!! I understand that part of loving their pictures also includes feeling like they paid a fair price. I understand that times can be hard and funds can be low and I never want that to be an obstacle between getting professional photos so be open if there is a financial situation... let's chat!! Make sure you read the entire message I send. I may offer a discount the quote price if you book within 24 hours if I have free time. Sometimes the discount is between 20-50%!! Scheduling does not mean the photos have to be taken within 24 hours but they do need a firm date, time, and fee. I have friends and family discounts, military discounts, police, ambulance and fire discounts (and other public service positions that qualify), refer a friend discounts, "be back" discounts for returning clients, mini sessions, and random promotions (i.e. I have done discounts in the month of March around St. Patrick's Day for headshots for anyone who has green eyes). I offer discounts for families who continue to have me document their lives... say, I do engagement, then maternity, newborn, 1 year photos, etc. Right now is the best time to schedule with me as I am building a client list and seeking referrals in the Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, and surrounding areas!! Pricing will never be better than this.
