Mountain View Counseling

Introduction: I have been providing counseling to individuals, couples, and families for over six years. During this time, I was certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy, which has proven effective with trauma survivors with PTSD. I have also developed a specialty in working with couples, and have helped many couples to reconcile their differences and find hope again in their marriage. Though I specialize in couples counseling, I am also effective with individuals and families, individualizing each person's therapy to address his or her unique needs and issues. I also specialize in Christian Counseling. As a former pastor, I am comfortable using the Bible to help people deal with life's problems. I recognize that there are denominational differences and beliefs, and I am comfortable with different viewpoints on non-essential biblical doctrines. I will never try to persuade you to believe differently when it comes to these issues. When it comes to essential doctrines, however, I am able to help people understand these issues in a non-judgmental teaching environment. I enjoy being able to help others move past difficult experiences in their lives and towards healing and wellness.
