Introduction: I'm a former high school math teacher (I taught Algebra and Geometry but worked with students across all subjects). I have tutored dozens of students over the last ten years in subjects ranging from elementary school math to preparing for graduate school exams like the GRE - and everything in between! I have my BA from Harvard College and a Masters in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and am currently working for Boston Public Schools. My favorite part of tutoring - especially tutoring math - is building a strong relationship with a student and helping them push their math skills (and often their confidence) to the next level. Whether you are a strong student or a less confident student, there is nothing more satisfying to me watching you solve a particularly complex problem with ease after watching you struggle with that same problem earlier.
