Introduction: I offer a blend of somatic based, developmental and relational therapy. I use deep attunement and intuition in combination with gestalt therapy and brainspotting to bring healing to the deepest neural pathways. I derive the greatest enjoyment from seeing individuals and couples move from survival mode into thriving living.

I cannot recommend Allison highly enough - I simply would not have survived the past five years without her compassion and wisdom. She is the ideal therapist, possessed of a tremendous variety of approaches and techniques. If something doesn't work, Allison will have a fresh idea, a new practice to suggest. Lying behind this wealth of learning and training is a warm and inspiring intelligence the like of which I haven't seen in any other therapist. I would recommend Allison to anyone needing to talk or trying to work on themselves. Her single greatest achievement for me was to get me on the road to forgiving myself - anyone in need of anything like this should book an appointment today.

Allison is not a clinical therapist. She is human therapist. She sees me where I am at and for who I am. I am not a “case” or disorder. She gently works with me to explore the places in my character development that have brought pain and suffering in my life. The tools and resources that she offers are not protocol; they resonate with me. But more than anything, Allison is someone I have come to trust, admire, and deeply respect. While struggling with some harsh anger and compulsion in my life, I was able to talk through these painful emotional places with her without withholding or denying my true self. We were able to identify the root of the struggle, and move through the next steps of finding additional support. She had developed such a cohesive understanding of me that she was able to make recommendations for me to offer my primary care doctor for supportive medication. I have always been against prescription medication for moods and emotion, but her call was exactly what I needed to get me through a challenging time.

Allison is a gifted therapist; she has helped me work through my issues (both large and small) over the years and never ceases to amaze me with her talent. She is very respectful of where you’re at in the process and has an un-canny way of nudging you forward without making the experience too unpleasant. She listens to both your verbal and non-verbal communications and uses her intuitive abilities to understand your issue; however, she is able to translate the complex into understandable terms and switches back and forth very easily. This makes the therapy productive and allowed me to become an active participant of my experience, which I found to be very empowering and motivating. Allison definitely does not employ a ‘one size fits all’ type of therapy technique--she takes the approach that you both are on this journey together, and she gives her all each and every time.
