FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I schedule no more than 2 jobs a day. This way I can do everything the client needs done. My prices reflect the complete job as opposed to a half job some cleaners provide. I do clean on my hands & knees and use my hands (I don't use a duster) and this extra detail is reflective in my price. You are hiring a full job cleaner. I also move things to get to the surfaces and I don't clean "around" things. For my regular clients, I don't charge extra for the occasional added work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I gauge your needs to make sure we are a good fit. I like an introduction by phone before we meet but that's just me. I like to ask questions about your cleaning process now and determine your needs & discus chemicals & cross contamination. I have no tattoos or piercings and have all my teeth. The reason why I mention that is because appearance matters to some people especially if I'm going to be around your children in the home. I use 3 clean clothes per room so I don't use the same cloth to clean the toilet and the fridge. You would be surprised how many cleaners use the same cloth on everything in the house. I give discounts for recurring clients & disabled.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained to clean in the Navy as we didn't have "cleaners" ... WE were the cleaners. I have spent hundreds of hours educating myself of every type surface in the home. I know what kind of cleaners/products to use and more importantly NOT TO USE.
