FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every quote is different, so we will discuss that along with the details of menu choices.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We'll talk about the client's needs (event, private dinner party, personal chef services, etc), then we will assemble a menu for client review. Then comes the contract, then the day of the event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My partner and I ran a food truck called Wafflegänger for four years in Denver, Colorado serving sweet + savory waffle sandwiches out of a bright yellow food truck. We served at all types of private and public events, what a blast! To source our vegetables for the food truck, we apprenticed at CSA's in NW Denver and sourced from there and a network of other local businesses for anything from coffee to baguettes. After running the food truck, I decided to branch out to teaching. I have been a kid's culinary teacher for the past year, getting kids excited about vegetables and fruits with a hands-on approach. We use kid-safe knives for chopping and lots of finger-oriented activities like shredding and kneading.
