After training with Christopher for my first marathon, I was hooked. I have never trained or used any other coaches and always am better trained and more prepared for races compared to other runners. I would never consider another personal trainer, he is just that good. He believes in you and will take you to greater goals then you might have set for yourself. He is the very best.

Personal Best Fitness was recommended to me 3 years ago when I was facing serious back surgery. Wanting to try any alternative before accepting the surgery, I visited Personal Best and received a fitness evaluation. My new trainer, Christopher, suggested I needed to strengthen my core to provide better support for my back. I also met with their nutritionist and have improved my eating habits. Here I am 3 years later, no back surgery, no back pain and 15 lbs lighter. One of the best gifts we can give our family and friends is to stay healthy. This is the best gift I have ever given myself.

I wanted to run my first half marathon and I enlisted Christopher and his trainers at Personal Best. I literally went from being on the couch to having the endurance and strength to run a half marathon! Now I am starting to train for a full marathon thanks to the Personal Best team! Hiring Personal Best has been one of the best decisions I have ever made!

I literally cannot say enough positive things about Personal Best Fitness. I could tell a difference in my strength and body within the first two weeks. As a beginner, Chrisopher and his trainers made me feel so comfortable but made sure I was pushing my limits. Every session I leave feeling accomplished and I know I will continue to use their services! :)

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    What we always do first, is we always put every person through a fitness assessment where we test your heart rate, cardio capabilities, strength, flexibility, body composition and take a look at your current nutrition. You get an 8 page report on your current fitness state and we know exactly how to make your workout to take advantage of your strengths and improve on the other areas.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Christopher McClintock, founder and owner of Personal Best Fitness – Personal Training Studio, received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Recreation from Kent State University and is certified by the International Sports Sciences Association. Christopher has been sponsored by Nike, Brooks, Swiftwick, Rudy Project, Gatorade and PowerBar as a marathon coach for American Cancer Society and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training. He has completed over 80 Marathons and Triathlons including Ironman, Boston Marathon, New York Marathon, Ultra Marathons, Stage Races and Trail Marathons.
