FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Project pricing is determined by projected design hours. I follow set pricing guidelines based on the time typically required for a design project. Then the exact quote is then locked in based on any factors which change the time required. For instance, when designing a logo I will typically provide 3 creative concepts for a client to choose from. If a client wants additional concepts to choose from, that adds some time to the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Phone call to introduce the project and agree on scope together 2. Provide rapid rough draft of creative concepts using quick sketches, idea bubbles, storyboard, and/or reference photos 3. Meeting (by phone or in person) to discuss rough draft and choose direction 4. Prepare mock up design(s) based on meeting feedback 5. Client review of mock ups 6. Meeting to receive client feedback and determine necessary edits and alterations 7. Prepare final draft 8. Client approval 9. Final file preparation and delivery. If printed materials are part of the project, files will be sent to printer at this time. 9. Client enjoys designs (and leaves a great Thumbtack.com review)!
