FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I tend to work within people’s budgets, quite often actually. Print outs and edits to photos may be a bit extra depending on quantity.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To build a relationship. A working relationship is very important because respect and communication are two vital factors in this type of work. From there we work on your vision: how you see yourself, how you want to look, how you want something to look. After that we start taking photos, whether you’re ready and in position or not. I’ve learned that this process (for some people, and for those who have a hard time smiling on command) opens up the opportunities to capture a more natural and relaxed look that doesn’t seem staged or forced and comes out a lot better than one you’re ready for. I’ll be talking to you almost the entire time either trying to get you to laugh, or to hold a pose. It’s a fun process.
