FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I work with them to compile the list of photographs they know they want (shoving cake in each others faces, great aunt dancing) to be sure that they're not missed. Then we go through what the ceremony will be like and what type of vibe you'd like the images to be.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in Photography and Digital Imaging from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. I have 2 years experience working as a photo editor at the New Yorker magazine and 6 years experience working as a professional photographer.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
While in college, one of my professors reached out to me because two of his friends were looking for a non-traditional wedding photographer. He said they were art collectors and the wanted a street photographer (which I was, and still am) to give their unconventional wedding (it was in Central Park and had 20 people) the right fit. I had an amazing time and they were ecstatic with the images, so I continued to shoot!
