OUR VISION Language Adventures will change the way children see our multilingual world by fostering an early love and curiosity for other languages and cultures through innovative and engaging education methods. OUR TEAM Language Adventures teachers all have degrees in education, language, or both. They speak Spanish natively and have extensive experience in the classroom with children of all ages. Our curriculum team uses only the most recent research in early childhood education and language acquisition, as well as their many years of experience in full-immersion classroom settings. Preschool Adventure classes For children ages three through five, we capitalize on their increased desire for independence. At this age, children are able to learn through social play. This is why Preschool Adventure classes focus on role-play activities, competitions, and collaborative projects. Our small class sizes allow our native-Spanish-speaking teachers to engage the group as a whole, as well as address the individual needs of each child through one-on-one interaction. Elementary Adventure classes Kids ages five to eight still love being silly, but they also crave guidance in reading and writing as well as instructions for more complex games and puzzles. For this age group, we strike the perfect balance between academic challenges and getting kids to giggle, all while immersing them in the Spanish language. Preteen Adventure classes As children approach the end of the “window of opportunity” for acquiring a language naturally, they require a slightly more focused method of language instruction. In these classes, we tackle the written language and a wide variety of vocabulary and grammar structures without ever resorting to instruction in English or rote memorization. Our Private Spanish Classes Private classes are a great way to ensure that your child is achieving their specific goals with a high level of attention and interaction from a native speaker at the most convenient location for you. Our world-class teachers who excel in larger groups also make some of the best one-on-one or small group tutors out there. Language Adventures is dedicated to providing engaging, stimulating and highly effective Spanish language classes. Our teachers are native Spanish speakers, passionate about teaching and are specially trained to engage students in the target language with games and activities that are so exciting; children do not even realize they are learning a second language. Our method Our Adventure-Immersion method uses a hands-on approach to stimulate every part of a child’s brain. We aim to enhance motor skills as well as linguistic skills, and our teachers incorporate movement and physical activity into each lesson. With our variety of immersion activities, from workbooks to relay races and art projects to science experiments, we ensure that our students develop a love for learning and never lose interest in the language. We carefully plan every session, tailoring the lessons to the development stages of each student in the classroom. This allows us to challenge each child at their own level and maintain high standards of progress.
