Aaron Kent did a full deck rebuild, and a few other projects on my house recently. He did an awesome job. He is detail oriented, does high quality work, and does a great job with communication throughout the job duration. His prices are reasonable, and work top quality. He frequently checks in to make sure expectations are met or exceeded. Highly recommended!

He responded very quickly and gave me a reasonable quote. Unforeseen circumstances provided time for a family member to take care of my job. However, the quote I was given from several thumbtack members was fair and if my family member had not offered to do it for me I would have used them. I have use professionals from Thumbtack before and have always had a good experience.

I waited long enough before I wanted to leave a review but being that I haven't heard back from him since him "completing" the work, I have to do so now before I leave in a few days. Everything seemed like it would have worked out well but its always like that in the beginnings, my naivety gets the best of me sometimes. Kent showed up for the initial review of the work on a Saturday, in the morning, on time. He looked over what I needed to get done and after also reviewing the write up of what the engineer wrote said he could do the job and some! There is a staircase leading to the basement where the main job was to be done that needed repair of two steps, that he said he'll add in at no cost. I thought, really?! But he stuck to his words and indeed fixed the 2 steps after the main job was done. Where my issue lies is with his follow-up after the work was done. The engineer came by to write up a inspection of what and how the job was to be done in the basement long before I ever met Kent, so he knew how the job was to be done. But after having the engineer come out to inspect his work she noticed some things, that while not currently problematic will mostly likely have some issues in the future. I've repeatedly contacted him about these issues but haven't gotten a date on when he'd be able to rectify these things. I got a message from him after contacting him repeatedly but my phone has a tendency to shut off unexpectedly or not ring for incoming calls or messages so I responded to him late and because of this I haven't heard from him since. I even promised to throw in some lunch and drinks when he were to come out, but nothing. The job was "completed" in September but we're now midway in November. C'mon Kent!?
