Introduction: I have a degree in mathematics from Boston University and 2 years of experience in tutoring. I am friendly and patient and I work really well with students of all ages. I am enthusiastic about the subject and I deliver quantifiable results. I am qualified to teach topics ranging from basic math, algebra statistics and geometry to complex level topics such as calculus and differential equations. I can teach a new topic or help understand material that wasn't taught really well in school or I can prepare you to score well on your assignments and exams. Some of my tutoring assignment have included – • Tutoring math to people who wish to take the real estate exam • Helping college students pass required math courses • Preparing high school students achieve excellent SAT grades • Working with Middle/High school students to help them understand mathematics taught in school and aid them with their assignments Rather than just helping my students get their assignments done or answer math questions, I help them understand why they got that question right and how they can use similar strategies for solving other related questions. I provide more than just a tutoring service. I provide a way to start developing critical thinking and problem solving skills skills. I understand numbers and algorithms and I love helping my students feel more empowered when they conquer something they felt unachievable.
