Introduction: Yes, we do standard HVAC, but we excel in geothermal heating and cooling, whether using a swimming pool or the ground to heat and cool the home/building. We have NATE certified technicians, so it will be done right, and we are Diamond Certified, so you will be treated right. I get personal satisfaction when people are comfortable and safe. We don't subscribe to passing a safety that turned off a furnace like others do to avoid a follow-up call. We have the customers' safety as top priority. This policy prevents fires and CO disasters.

Cold Craft was hired to put in a A/C in our house right before my wife had knee replacement surgery over the summer. Sure enough the day she was coming home something went wrong. You don't know how good a company is until you have a problem. I called up and they said that they would be out later that day or the next morning. About 15 minutes later there was a knock at the front door. It was Cold Craft. Upon asking the gal said that when the order went up on the board they knew that my wife was just getting home from the hospital and she was called off another job (by the owner) to quickly run over to see what was wrong. They fixed it that day and my wife was comfortable in the house with her knee recovery.

ColdCraft is certified and does a lot of commercial, so they know projects large and small. They are super responsive and reasonable, we have used them for years and always recommend them with confidence. They helped identify why our PG&E bill was out of line and helped rectify the issue quickly.

I find Cold Craft to be a highly efficient, knowledgeable and dedicated company. I have had them do tune-ups on my furnace / air conditioning unit a number of times. When it came time to replace my 20 year old unit they provided me with a high efficient and quiet furnace. They event went "the extra yard" and stuck behind the product when there was an installation problem and got me a new unit. I would HIGHLY recommend them for your heating and air conditioning needs!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do have standard pricing. We have a flat rate diagnostic and use a standard book created by a third party that estimates the average time and materials to complete the job. This is a fair way to price out the job where you get an experienced technician at a good price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When customers reach out to Cold Craft for a installation of new equipment we provide a free in-home estimate to explain the changes in HVAC installations and the new upgrades that were made for efficiency and comfort.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of our field employees have completed both a formal education in HVAC from an accredited institution and/or have passed a series of extensive testing from NATE (North American Technical Excellence). This assures our customers that the work will be done right.
