- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge $100 for individuals for the 50 minute session, and $125 for couples for the 50 minute session. I do offer a sliding scale should pricing be a concern. I am out of network for insurance and provide a superbill for clients to reimburse it from their insurance companies.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Clients can call me on my phone, when we speak, please share with me a general idea about the problems you are seeking help for. This is a great opportunity to ask questions to understand the therapy process. At that time we can decide whether to schedule an appointment at the office to further discuss your goals and concerns. Initial appointment: The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, to learn more about your background, life experiences, relationships, family history, past counseling experiences and anything else you feel is important for me to know.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT). I am registered MFT intern (IMF86649) with behavioral board of services and I am under the supervision of Don Hadlock MFC15316. It is important for you to know A Registered Marriage Family Therapy (MFT) intern is an unlicensed therapist who works under a licensed supervisor. I have hundreds of hours of clinical experience in working with Children, Couples and Families under the guidance of my licensed supervisor. I also have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and have 15+ years of experience working as a software engineer in Silicon Valley.
