- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I spend a lot of time preparing for our meeting. I also shop for clients and prep for the cooking demonstrations before we meet. I build that time spent into my fees depending on what the clients needs/wants are.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Health and Wellness clients are given lots of good, practical information that is easy to follow. We talk about substituting certain foods for meals that are less in calories and added sugar and sodium. I do a small cooking demo to show them that healthy food can be delicious. We talk about the things that make us gain weight and why that is. We discuss why these habits can be improved and just how to do it. I have lots of handouts. COOKING LESSONS: I like to know what foods they love and we agree on a menu. I purchase all of the food and we cook together! I provide all the recipes for them to keep. It’s really fun. I show how delicious healthy foods can be. They keep all the leftovers. I love cooking with groups too.
