I had a small job which most companies were uninterested in but because I had a very high stairwell I felt I needed an insured professional painter. Quality House Painting took the job for their minimum payment and completed the job quickly.
Unfortunately the light in my new place did a number on the color in unpredictable ways. I called Quality House Painting told them my situation and then spoke to sammy the owner and we discussed my issues. He offered suggestions about meeting with a color specialist and putting up samples (something he did suggest the first time but due to timing I didn't have the option to do) and then he generously offered to repaint the place for a lesser fee due to my particular circumstances.
The Project went perfectly with the guys getting it done in one day and I'm happy to say I am enjoying my new place, admiring how gorgeous it looks!

This is the first time I wrote a review on thumbtack. Since sammy did such an excellent job painting my rooms that I had to write one for him.
He quickly replied my initial inquiry and set up an appointment for estimate. He showed up on time. But due to an unforeseen problem on my end, I missed the appointment completely. When I called him, I felt terrible. He was very understanding and offered to come back for the estimate the following day. After meeting him and discussing my painting needs, I was impressed with his expertise and personality.
For the next three days, I let sammy paint my house while I was at work. He kept me informed every day and even emailed me a picture of the room during the first day as I was really curious how the room looked with the new color. When I went back at the night, I could see that he took the time to prep the room before painting and clean up after painting. The rooms look fabulous! The paint was smooth, the lines are straight and the floors are clean. I couldn't be happier! The last day, Sammy showed me the receipts of the paint he bought. He got a great discount and passed on the savings to me.
