We experienced a copper pipe break inside our walls that very quickly destroyed one whole side of our finished basement. Keith from Mud Dogs Drywall rebuilt and finished the room and made it match perfectly. He was great to work with and finished the job in less time than expected. Everyone who saw his work couldn't believe anything had happened. Mud Dogs Drywall is highly recommended.

. I wasted way too much time for Mud Dogs to present me with a firm contract demanding 1/2 payment before he started work, when in fact he never saw my bath and went off of photos. We were still talking about a bid to finish a small bathroom ceiling. He should have waited until he actually saw the job before demanding any payment. Especially if you are charging $1,000 to texture a small bathroom ceiling. That would have been the professional thing to do. I do not hand over money to anybody that hasn't taken the time or put any effort into finding out about the actual job I need done. You cannot spend days delaying and stalling then have the audacity to demand money without first seeing the job or TALKING to the customer. If only to give them a heads up about sending a contract to sign up front.

Details: Apply finishing • 4 rooms • Ceiling(s) • Residential

Mud Dogs Drywall's reply
Contract clearly stated that pricing was based on pictures provided by customer and price could be adjusted once on site. The contract defines the work that is to be performed and the price. I never asked for any money prior to arriving at home. I stated that work would not begin until we had agreed, in writing, the scope of work and price. I do require initial draw on contract to begin the project, usually 50%.
